“We tracked ‘No Pleasure’ over four days in March 2015. As with our last LP, we decided to record it with Wayne Adams at Bear Bites Horse Studios in London. Recording is often such a sterile process, but with Wayne everything is dead easy as he totally gets us, and is also a top bloke. Aside from vocals and some minor overdubs, everything was tracked live in 2 or 3 takes. We feel this has gone some way to capturing the aesthetic that we also try to convey at our sweaty, sweaty gigs. It was a right laugh making this album which hopefully comes across in this short film. We hope you will enjoy watching it, and then decide to buy the record because otherwise we will starve.” – Gareth Thomas
